Re: Index research: I have been looking at utilities and their leaders on the hypothesis that market corrections may be proceeded by an uptick in defensive stocks. Or perhaps utility selloffs prior to an upturn. Will post something if it shows promise. (One interesting chart is SI's comparison of Ma Bell(T) with SPY & DIA.) One things for sure MR.G's rate cuts were nice to this sector in 98.
