I posted about this earlier. The way Obamacare is set up, a company can provide the insurance (with some contribution from the employee) and still may end up paying penalty for that employee (under certain circumstances). Safest and cheapest way is just to pay the penalty. And / or cut the hours, which appears to be one way out for now...
