Senator Dean Heller of Nevada, an incumbent Republican, held onto his seat by a narrow margin after a rough-and-tumble race against Democratic congresswoman Shelley Berkley. Berkley, who has had ethics allegations raised against her in the past, won voter-rich Clark County, which includes Las Vegas, but struggled elsewhere in the state.
