Jack, thanks for the info. Still haven't gotten a response from Datek to my complaint from a week ago. I'm going to give them another few days before handing it over to the authorities.

I am well armed with all the documentation I need to win against Datek in arbitration (if it goes that far). If you recall, I tried to sell 2000 FEET for about half an hour, and was unable to get an execution. When I was finally filled, the stock was 3/4 point lower! After waiting on hold for about half-an-hour, I spoke to a human at Datek who told me to E-mail my complaint to trades@datek.com. I sent them a detailed message, and requested they adjust my account by $1,500 to compensate me for my mishandled order. I still have heard nothing.

The next step is to refer my situation to NASDR. I have a print out of my orders which were all marketable for several minutes. They have tracking numbers and times which prove that Datek was working my orders. I also have a 45 page print out of time, sales, and level II market-maker quotes for the half-hour during which my orders were mishandled. This is proof that my order was mishandled. Finally, I have a copy of the E-mail which I sent to Datek which they have ignored.

Perhaps, I should send copies of other posts to this thread confirming similar experiences shared by other Datek customers.
