Anyone who has been involved with designing a switch of this level knows that a large team of people design and develop it. The loss of one person does not in any way seriously impact the platform.

Heck Tony Li was "the architect" of Cisco routers and he left for Juniper over a year ago. Has that affected Cisco router sales?
