Dear Mitchell:
Thanks for your recent email message. We report the number of Series C
shares which have been converted in the quarterly and annual reports filed
with the SEC (10-Q and 10-K). Our next filing is required by March 31st. The
Series C holders have until June 25, 2001 to convert these shares (subject to
certain adjustments as explained in the 8-K filed 6/29/98 with the SEC). As
reported in our last 10-Q filing, 1,451 shares had been converted.
In terms of increasing stockholder value, we continue to believe that execution
of our strategic plan will provide increased value for stockholders. To that
end, we are continuing to work with 11 telecommunications carriers to offer a
virtual assistant product to their customers. We are also moving to add Internet
partners (like Intuit) using our magicTalk voice user interface. Our efforts to
sell Portico through resellers continues, and we have added Web-based
sign-up as well.
