The Fed also provides about 70% of the about 100 billion in deficit spending. The 40 bil is only the latest QE.

Divide the 140 bil by 310 million population, and it works out to about $450 per capita each month. 5 thousand a year. 20K per family of 4. And this is not even the entire federal spending - it is only the deficit part, which must be covered through borrowing.

People are generally not aware of this. They talk about recovery.... Heck, this is some recovery indeed - paid for with a credit card. Our dumb corrupt political classes are taking the nation down, and the press is covering it up.
