Heads up on MS Word print problem caused by Norton MS Office Protection:

I had to UNcheck "turn Office plug-in on" in Norton [which came with new PC] before I could print from MS Word. Norton does a virus check when a doc is opened with MS Office. The documents were my own. When trying to print, the Word title bar flashed and I had to close MS Word with task manager. There was no error message.

This behavior is repeatable, i.e. I disabled and enabled Norton twice with the same results.

There may be a setting in Norton that I missed, but I'm just giving Norton a chance for the 2 months it's free and won't spend much time on it. Other than the above, Norton is pretty well behaved. It's called 'Norton Internet Security'.
