I thought that would smoke you out. You can't even give Krugman credit for being the major economic thinker that he is. And, in addition, Krugman has become one of the best political analysts of the day. As for writing columns, Friedman was no great shakes. If there were any justice in the world (and we know about that), Krugman should get a Pulitzer for his.
