ot.. Well I know the new 540i will beat a Firebird/Camaro SS 315hp deal in the 1/4 mile, but since you don't have the 6 speed some sort of upgrade is in order :-) Biggest thing is power/weight ratio and then where your power band is via your torque curve. I've raced Big block Chevy's with 400hp and beaten them with the almight VR6. I can't help it them old muscle cars weight a TON!! Btw..she's chipped out and just shy of 200 ponies, so watch your ass :-)
