I tried the RC5 client from distributed.net on my Micron notebook PC and decided after 20min it was getting a little too hot to the touch.
It definitely stresses the chips, but I'm not eager to explore the dimension of thermal runnaway.
The cause of science may have to proceed with out this machine <g>
