Some of the announced items coming from AOL, according to USA Today article:

Casablanca, the next major upgrade of AOL's service. Available in early 1997, the software will include upgraded audio and video capabilities, software to create online content,upgraded electronic mail and a way for users to talk to each other over the network.

Driveway, a service that automatically sends news to people on a regular basis. Similar to services from PointCast and Freeloader, it lets users customize their news - asking for specific stocks quotes, horoscopes and company news, for example. AOL wants to make the service free, generating revenue from ad sales instead of users.

PowerPack, a new $29 CD-ROM that includes AOL access software, games and Internet browsers such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
