What do you think will ultimately happen when the feds and states clash over it?

I don't know. Since there are a number of nullification efforts about different federal laws it will be interesting to see how the Feds react, and then how the public reacts.
It will also be interesting to see if public sentiment matters, should it all come to that, a gauge of how close we are to an authoritarian state.
