High ranking officers having affairs with female officers working for them is the number one reason for relief of flags these days. Due to the enormous increase of women in the military.

I saw a dance instructor, nice guy, get five years for having an affair with his 16 year old partner. She got ticked when they broke up and turned him in.

The important part of this affair, once you set the gossip aside, is the stench of Benghazi that it holds.
