I am sick to death of these parents who are so desperate for public attention and monies that they use their kids to get that attention. The poor boy involved in this mess was literally throwing up twice on national tv last week because he was so freaked out about the hoax his parents had perpetrated. If I were anywhere near the father, I kick his ass from one end of the room to the other. Its just disgusting......and the media plays right into it.

Parents in Balloon Hoax to Surrender

DENVER — The Colorado parents accused of concocting a publicity stunt by pretending that their young son had climbed aboard a homemade helium balloon and was hurtling through the skies above Fort Collins, Colo., will voluntarily surrender to authorities as soon as charges are filed, which is expected to happen on Wednesday, the lawyer for the father said Monday morning.
