everyone who thinks LU takes us out on Oct 1, you should re-think the situation. The companies start talks let's say on October 5, they do due dili for three to five weeks and then negotiate for another 2 weeks, and it is past Thanksgiving. This is a late November/early December deal. Oh, it will happen but it will take time due to appearances. Totallly agree; the merger announcement may not be until Nov/Dec. But Asnd's fair value plus a porting of the take-over premium will be held up nicely unless the "perceptions" change. We may or may not encounter some selling pressure in the next few weeks due to the general market condition, but the pressure will be light and quick in my opinion. The current shorts will rush to cover, take-over MO players will rush to purchase calls; current holders will add to their positions....etc.. After all, Asnd is in the bussiness of "selling equipments to the internet, an essential part of e-communication and e-commerce". We dropped a few points on Friday, but the volume was light. I am watching to add more long shares if we drop more. Have a nice Sunday; guess I just feel like talking...:)
