Maybe you haven't read enough.. I've answered all these
questions before... I'll quickly summarize as I'm not
feeling well.. THIS MSG NOT DIRECTED AT ANY ONE PERSON!

CSHK is not a software company.. they are not a kitty litter
company. CSHK is a STRATEGIC MARKETING company that seeks
out and finds products that have significant potential in
the marketplace. Those that own the rights to those products
either lack the financials means, the right connections, or
the knowledge of how to get their product to the market.

CSHK steps in... tests the product thoroughly and then if they
like it they acquire the rights/company/product and goto
work. They picked up the kitty litter in September of 1997
and have made tremendous progress w/ it thus far. Sales should
start flowing within a few months. When they found the
Y2K software in Janurary of 1998 they felt they couldn't
pass up on it. So they recently acquired them as well.

How many companies do you see in this day and age that
only have 1 product line. There are companies out there
that deal with oil, financial, medical, R&D, etc and if they
can do it well and make money who cares.. more power to them.

You may disagree, but I think CSHK is doing the right thing.
They aren't overextending themselves at this point. Should
they be trying to juggle 50 products in the development
stage then yes I'd say they've gone too far. But right now
they only have 2 products in the final stage and 2 more in
the R&D (research and development phase).

As far as Microsoft having a Y2K product for the PC... maybe they
do.. maybe they don't. How many Memory Managers, Disk Utilities,
Crash protection utilities, Virus Protection, System Diagnostic
applications are there?? One of each? 'Cuz no one would dare
put out a product that someone else has already thought of right?

Yeah right. World of competition. Didn't anyone here take
economics in college.. or maybe I should lower it to high school?
Factors that will include success are price, distribution,
advertisements to seek product recognition, non-affiliated yet
professional support such as a write-up in PC MAGAZINE,
product enhancement such as the designing of the box, and of
course the final and most important thing.. your product should

SAY WHAT IT DOES, and DO WHAT IT SAYS.

Have a great holiday all!

Hope this clears it up for you all..
