I live on Long Island, and Stony Brook is the best hospital in Suffolk County for heart patients. A relative of mine a few dayes ago just had a triple-by-pass, annd his doctors at Stony Brook didn't even mention to him anything about EECP. I download everthing from vaso web site and gave it to my uncle. The surgury was successful. So until the insurance give the option, the hospitals and patients will contiue to have surgery (around 40k) over EECP (around 7k). If I hear anything from Stony Brook or the newspapers, I will post immeditally. Take care, and keep the faith!
