Global TeleSystems earnings surge 88.4% gtl.co.in Date: 7/21/99 2:45:57 PM Global Telesystems Q1 net zooms 88.4% Global Telesystems recorded a growth of 88.4% in net profit for Q1 FY1999-2000. The company's net profit stood at Rs130mn as compared to last year's Rs69mn. Sales increased by 27.12% to Rs778mn as against previous year's Rs612mn. The scrip is currently trading at Rs238 up by Rs8.8 from Tuesday's close on the BSE.
