If it was March of 1997, I believe this was before MDIN was involved, since everything with MDIN happened in late July early August of 1997. Maybe partner was FIRE??

I imagine that the property is owned like I own my house, ala a mortgage. MDIN is probably making payments, but maybe the owner retains some rights over usage of the land???? I dont really know, just speculating?

As to what has happened with production, the following was suggested to me:

1. Management originally wanted to go in and produce the Catan vein by shipping the ore to Enami.

2. They found new, previously undiscovered, veins on the way to the Catan.

3. This puts the total veins in the area at 31 and counting.

4. Now they take a few steps back to look at this project from a wider angle, more than just the Catan vein.

5. They send down geologist from NA to make sure they are approaching the project in the best way possible.

6. After reading House's report, it appears that some major geological event occurred that would explain the unusually high gold silver copper. The big question is: how big is the intrusive body that is feeding all of the other entities??

7. The next step is likely to be bringing in the geological mapping and drills to start putting holes in the property.
