The election's still two weeks away yet!!! Two days ago, based on polls, the Bushies were planning a celebration party and today, based on polls, the Gore-ites are having one?!?!? Two days from the polls will change again. Bottom line, this thing is really tight, and today's polls do not carry any real meaning (nor yesterday's nor tomorrow's). While I hold out hope that the electorate sees through the vacuous Bush candidacy, and indeed elects Gore, these polls aren't really telling us much other than it's going down to the wire. This is closer than it has any right to be.
