In this case, all it means is that Preferred Stock which was converted into Common Shares has to be accounted for as dividends, which have an impact on earnings. It's not an "Ooops!" in the sense of: "Ooops, we said we sold $100,000,000 of stuff but really only sold $10,000,000. I don't know how that extra 0 slipped in there. . . ." The re-statement itself is not a big deal.
