M$Ft is an unstoppable cache engine "Win2K is simply the latest incremental upgrade to WinNT" Win2K is an enterprise class OS that the market was awaiting for and that accounts for leading edge results by e.g. M$FT and CPQ ( and that BTW will likely drive one more nail into the coffin of proprietary dinosaurs) "The prospect for .NET is that MSFT will probably successfully cram it down many people's throats" The prospect for .NET is the successful continuation of a proven product-market strategy that is behind M$FT success in the market place.
