Sure, I've lost on individual trades. My biggest losses coincide with my biggest gains, they are directly related to each other. Keeping stops, limiting losses and letting winners run a bit will land you far far on the winning side. Saying that day traders are losing their shirts show that you are un-informed. These times of volatility are quite profitable. I suggest you read Irby's links to Ken Wolfs Momentum trading techniques. + 5/8 today, missed the open shorts due to systems problems. oh well.
