I do know that some servers which can hold four CPUs are shipped with two empty CPU slots for future expansion. I'm willing to guess around two million x86 "servers" will be sold this year. I put the word "servers" in quotes because it's hard to draw the line between an enterprise server and a so-called "thin server." Tenchusatsu
