re: I think the interesting question is whether PC manufacturers like Dell will be able to sell computers that can also dual boot Windows or OSX. If that comes to pass then the distinction between Apples and PCs at the hardware level goes away and there becomes a single hardware PC standard. Apple as a computer hardware company may have trouble competing in that environment but Apple as an OS company may prosper. Hard to say. As long as Apple has an exclusive on duel boot, I don't think it would benefit Apples bottom line. That could change if they pick up market share, I suppose. Sorry if this has been mentioned, but what if MS refused to "support" XP and office in an Apple machine? It would be a short term hit to their revenue but maybe a better long term strategy. ??? John
