Shorting**Dumb idea of the year** Its been my observation, that every time an investment idea seems like a slam dunk, it quickly comes back to bite you on the ass. Example: When Bush and Cheney finally won the election we all viewed hundreds of articles that the place to be ( investment wise) was the oil patch. Because everybody "knew" that B &C would do their utmost to help the oil patch. So I say stay clear of shorting anything. Regards, Jerome
