No point in listing a product when it can't get chips, Stephen.

No doubt the cloners would have continued to list the product (despite not having enough chips), made customers wait, continued to take orders, made more customers wait, and been praised for their efforts to bring cutting edge products to the masses by "Macweek." I read on one of the Mac sites yesterday that Apple may relist the 9600/350s when it can reliably get chips_in quantity. You want to dump on someone, try IBM and Motorola.
