The treaties signed with the Native Americans by the US Gov...Had to do with 'believing in ownership.'..these signers ( whether Nez Peirce...Ottawa..or Souix) believed in this Right more strongly than you....their ancestors were here in excess of 10,000 years......far older than the Bible we Yanks swear on....... Spain...in Mex and the SW US used Far less Paper...... and Chose to enslave and or kill off the 'Locals'....Not that the US Gov did not also partake in such types of ethnic cleansing......
