Did anyone on this thread accuse EGRP management or Gen'l Atlantic of insider trading? I think not. It is not illegal for an insider to sell a stock simply because he/she thinks the well known risks outweigh the potential rewards or that valuations have gotten too far ahead of the well known fundamentals of the company. It is not even illegal, I believe, for them to sell if they are concerned that recently disclosed problems could have a detrimental effect on new account growth over the next couple qtrs.

We don't, of course, know why any of them have sold. We can only speculate, but I haven't heard any EGRP bears speculate that the selling was based on material non-public information.

PS: To mod, I can't comment on the quality of Citi's brokerage services in the past. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I was simply pointing out that there is competition out there that could have significant marketing advantages over EGRP in its drive to become the leading financial portal site. Besides, now that Citi and Travelers are one, it seems reasonable to expect significant improvements in their service.
