just a note on a fairly short-sighted move on apple's part last week--
they closed their corporate library completely, one of the premiere
computer research libraries in the country. just shut it down. some
of the materials will be distributed to departments within the company, but the professionals are gone and the resources have been distributed.

so much for innovation...
