Mark is not amd going to to .25m next year as well and it is planned that by the end of the 98 all of k6s would be build using .25m tech. I am not to warried about 300MHz since I think even if they start marketing it right now the cost will be above desktop-level computer. And with $3000 ppro with 1M they will compete against their own chips. If k6 is going to run "cold" at 233MHz clock speed at .35m I would venture to say that it is very likely that it would reach higher speeds at 25m. The more serious threat would be if they would introduce a new toy like P7 or P8 or P9. Even if the speeds of the chips would be the same as P6 with intel's marketing they might be able to sell a ton of those. Regards -Albert
