John, i think the noize will come when SGI's four proc visualPC hits the street. remember, there's $50M allocated to hype these babys. at $5K for a single proc or $15K for a four proc box that runs rings around an Octane, every dollar of advertising will be well spent.
it shows wisdom on SGI mgmt's part to limit the hype about what's currently shipping to it's website.
