To all fellow Democrats!! Right now I am up at Lake Tahoe and can't post too much but rest assured, I am even more inspired to fight for our causes and help get the Democrats elected in 2004. The Democratic leadership should step down and get fresh blood that will energize the party base with something other than a Bush ditto..frankly that doesn't cut it for me as I am not a Bush fan at all. That includes Daschle Gephardt and Terry Mac Auliffe. Perhaps the Republicans can now be exposed for what their true agenda is. They will not be able to blame the Democrats for all the country's ailments and I hope that the Democrats will now lead some opposition to their agenda. The Democratic base MUST be energized again. Perhaps when they realize what their apathy has brought us ( Republican control ) then they will learn to get off their butts and vote in every election like most of us here do. So much will be lost in the upcoming two years.........union strength, abortion, women's rights, equal opportunity, civil rights for Afro-Americans, regulation of various industries, worker safety and food and drug safety as well as the environment........we will now be at the mercy of those that contribute to the Republican Party. Look to what happened in the energy crisis of California and get used to being used as a cash cow for large corporations who are breaking the law and getting away with it due to the Bush administration lack of intervention. Middle class and lower class Americans will now be the "patsies" for the Bush cartel!! Can you believe that when the economy is going into the tank and sinking by the day, while the country will become an imperialistic aggressor for the first time in it's history and when the presidency is giving the "middle finger" to the world...........the people of this country give it a vote of confidence!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What morons live here in this land???? I for one will not support this dictatorship in the making!!!It's time to stand up against tyranny and not be intimidated.
