God help us, Bill, no one ever proves anyone right or wrong on this thread. It's all about contentious, snarling, in your face political posting about which there is no consensual factual basis to agree or disagree.

Or those ever so rare moments in which some of us manage to reach to a sort of wary moment in which we talk about other things.

Or, moments in which those of us who don't share the prevalent, nigh universal, right wing ideological outlook of the thread, note that those who do talk nice to one another while you call innocent balance-the-budget comments, "socialism."
