OK. I stand corrected, signed but not ratified.

The fact that humans are rascals is never an argument for the rational legitimacy of particular claims.

I'm not sure whether or not I would say "never", but either way I fail to see any relevance. I haven't made any assertions as to the legitimacy of Canada's or the US's position based on "the fact that humans are rascals.
