There is no way for PLNI to know that TDAmeritrade may have been cherry picking the large shareholders for share liquidation. If PLNI management received a letter dated April 13, then they may have assumed that all PLNI sharholders also received it.

I suspect that TDAmeritrade, via it's MM TDCM, has a huge short liability here and they were attempting to cover it by methods that are both unique and marginally legal.

This is all just personal opinion.
