JohnM, You might wish to pass this along to John McCain, after Rove and Bush trashed him in the SC primary; or Valerie Plame after Bush operatives outed her as a CIA agent; or, the list just goes on and on. I will pass it the next time John McCain and I are fishing :-) (* So your reduced to defending the DNC lunacy by pointing out internal RNC fights? *) As for Valerie - I suspect the concept of innocent until proven guilty has no meaning in political discourse anymore. For me this devolution in reasonable debate is not since Vince Foster, but rather since Robert Bork. The investigation is underway, no one has been accused yet by the FBI - so lets let it run - ok? Maybe it was a low level flunky, maybe a high level operative, but usually the truth does emerge. If the Bushies were so all powerful and evil - don't you think they could have controlled the media better? And 'found' some WMD at scale? And gotten rid of Michael Moore? John@really.com
