Jay, CPQ has not announced when or what they plan to do with AltaVista exactly. Don't look for any distribution to shareholders. They have said that they will issue the IPO later this year, which means they don't have a friggin clue when. when they eventually get around to it, we can be sure they will screw-up that as well. If anyoone from CPQ is involved with Altavista, i would not touch it with a ten foot pole.
