Omega's Mac-compatible OS. leaner and faster?

omega.de

Macintouch reports that this European company has developed an OS8 compatible OS that runs almost all major Mac applications to include Adobe and MS Offfice.

It requires as little as 4MB RAM, 12 MB hard drive space and runs 4 to 5 times faster than OS8! Includes multi-threading, memory protection, all the much talked about goodies, blah, blah, blah. Expected to ship in November for around $99.

Some readers of Macintouch suspect it's a hoax, noting things like, coding problems from backward engineering the Mac OS.

Anyone got any input? The beta is apparently out, but I haven't gotten it.
