Pruguy, you are right about the deterioration of this thread. IMHO the main reason for this is the fact that CPQ has lost it's credibility. Everyday in the company news section you read about the company as the #1 PC seller in the world, yearly annual revenues surging towards $50billion, the company becoming more of a full service corp., and various new innovations making it more unique. It all is very nice and would lead an average investor to be interested in buying into the company. The bottom line is that the stock is down over 37% from it's recent high, and is heading down further with no immediate reversal in sight. We, or at least myself, don't want to read, or hear, about the great things happening with CPQ, we want greater shareholder value PERIOD! I have trouble reading hlpinout's very nice CPQ news articles anymore! I think it's time for CPQ to face it's shareholder's and SHOW THE MONEY!! Or at least it's management should step forward and speak about the total deterioration of it's share price! As Warner Wolfe says "C'MON!!"
