Richard, of course my comment was in jest and I apoligize if it made you uncomfortable. It would be unfortunate if you do stop posting here since I (and I'm sure many others) find your comments thoughtful, timely and interesting. We benefit from your knowledge and experience.
As for your post, it was very interesting. Was this just printed recently? Although I belive it is difficult, if not impossible, for individuals to affect stock prices by their buying and selling, there certainly is the possibility of spreading rumors, hype, etc... Even so, others should always do thier own homework in investing and make smart decisions. I have found SI to be a wealth of information, with a little hype thrown in. As I said, I find your posts in particular very informative. I'm sure others here at SI (and the PRLN discussion in particular) would agree.
I look on SI more as a source of secondary information (and also entertainment), not primary information. I would never make any investment decision without aksing my broker at Dean Witter and discussing the company in detail.
Again I apoligize for any offense given and look forward to reading your future posts.
