Hi Chris...welcome to SI, and thanks for being a reader of my site! :o)

In my opinion, AMZN, is a good short, but it is a long term short. This is one you stick away in your drawer and in 5 years you can buy the stock certificates back to use as floor covering when house training your new pet dog. It'll be cheaper than using newspaper.

That said, AMZN is a cult stock...thus it can and will continue to be volatile. I expect some type of bottom to occur in the markets over the next few days to 2 weeks after which we should get a nice tredning bounce that will last for a few weeks. AMZN will most likely rise with the rest of the market. My guess is that you will be able to short above 25 at some point in the future.

Tomorrow will likely produce more selling, so my best advice is to watch the AMZN short and to take profits when you get them. A higher entry point will come again.
