"Weekly BioRollerCoaster: On Tuesday 2-20-00 through Thursday 2-22-01, Biotechnology stocks closed down in step with the high technology group in general in response to warning about decreased earning for several big high tech players. Close to the close on Friday 2-23-01, biotechs rebounded. However, the more mature companies benefited the most from the move upward.
