I have not said that, nor have I implied that. You are creating an intentional misstatement. What I said was that phoney niceties are unnecessary when dealing with contemptible people. Nor did I imply that mere disagreement was grounds for contempt. One of the things I happen to find offensive is people who act deliberately obtuse. They are obviously not discussing in good faith...
