If I were the last man in the world, and there was but one woman left, young, beautiful, and alluring, we would have to discuss our plans for family very carefully. No baby sitters -- so a kid would mean no Fridays out for her. No diaper service (unless we had a dog). Another mouth to feed, with no job or welfare. It's her decision it seems to me. No chance at Harvard for the kid, or a good career. If the woman was into love-making the kid would be a real nuisance for many years, but probably would need little sex education.
And so many things left to read before we croaked. Plenty of opportunity, but hard to get the motivation going to write. No one to post to or argue with. Sort of sad. Rape seems to me to be out of the question. I would expect far more pressing problems to be addressed. Questions of love, and contraception. Of course, there would be no problem about picking a place to live (the schools and stores are all the same anywhere).
