O/T Putting Down South through the wringer only results in gaining an understanding of his opinion, not developing one of your own.

...Patently untrue.

I believe every opinion, regardless of who's it is, is a combination of other views, life experiences and observations... often containing valuable facts placed in a particular context.

Such was the case here on both sides of the dialog.

Why should downsouths opinion of the company, or Mr. Mullineaux's for that matter, be any less or more a part of the equation of due diligence than any other source of information that is not entirely unobjective?

You may consider the dialog to have been one of baiting, but I doubt anyone with as much obvious savvy as DS would involve himself in a dialog if he didn't want to be there.

"Rude" is a very subjective thing. I've often thought others were rude in asking particular questions during a conversation, only to find how interesting the answers elicited were... answers that may never have come to light if the conversation were suppressed due to a fear of rejection.

Many thanks for all your work on these forums, and best regards for a good holiday. We have much to be thankful for.
