German Internet fund, holder of EGRP : thestreet.com Fund manager's comments : << He also likes E*Trade (EGRP:Nasdaq), though he had his doubts at first about the company, given the competition from old-line brokerage houses. But now, "I'm very confident about the company," he said. "Maybe they will be, in one or two years, the No. 1 Internet broker." He dismisses recently publicized technical difficulties as "a typical childhood illness."
