those "stacked chips" remind me too much of "Wafer scale integration" Stacking chips is done pretty routinely currently. Carl's other points are equally valid IMO. I also agree with your major point of CMOS growth slowing in the time frame you cite. I can't wait for the next shift in computing. We will see some incredible stuff. Bob
