Congrats to your parents bbm. I will celebrate my 25th wedding anniversary on Aug 4th. My brother celebrated his 25th last year. His in-laws had their 50th two years ago. My neighbor's parents just celebrated their 50th last month. They've been married 22 years themselves. My parents were married for 44 years until my dad's passing. Yada, yada, yada, I could go on for quite a while here. We all don't consider marriage broken or meaningless at all.
